Founded in 1988 by Bill and Emmanuelle Betham, the café has a rich history that includes an expansion in 1995 into an adjacent 15th-century building. The Bethams have created a welcoming atmosphere that has attracted a diverse clientele, including students, residents, and tourists. The restaurant also features unique Papier Mache artwork available for purchase, adding to its distinctive character.
